Ever hope your phone rings one day and it’s a lawyer from a different state, telling you about a family you didn’t know you had, who died suddenly without a will- and you’re the heir apparent…?

Well, trust me – it’s not as “fun” as you might think. lol

Don’t get me wrong- it’s way cool!

But the emotional “roller” coaster and high cortisol and stress – it can mess with a body!

Here’s to Janet and Kenneth and the family i never knew I had. May you rest in peace and rest in power. Until we meet again one day – as promised!

Not to sound too cryptic here, but a few years ago, a distant family member died. Apparently my father had another family- and we didn’t know about each other.

And so a quest was begun. A big quest. Many little quests. When money is involved, people get crazy.

Let’s just say I am glad it’s almost over and I can get back to living my wee, simple life.
